Last night I posted the First movie poster for 'Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World' starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley and mentioned that hopefully, the trailer will follow soon after. Looks like it's sooner than I thought as the first trailer for the apocalyptic dramedy has landed online via Yahoo! Movies. Focus Features has also created a site/page for the movie here: Seeking A Friend For The End of The World. Not much on it yet, just the release date, cast & crew listing, and official synopsis (which you can read below).

Synopsis

SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD stars Golden Globe Award winner Steve Carell and Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley and is the feature directorial debut of screenwriter Lorene Scafaria. Set in a too-near future, the movie explores what people will do when humanity’s last days are at hand. As the respective journeys of Dodge (Mr. Carell) and Penny (Ms. Knightley) converge, the two spark to each other and their outlooks – if not the world’s – brighten.
