Rosamund attended the premiere with Barney's Version co-stars Paul Giamatti, Minnie Driver, Scott Speedman, and Anna Hopkins (who played her daughter in the movie...and an interesting family connection: Dustin Hoffman's real-life son Jake Hoffman played his grandson in the film and also played Rosamund's character's son).
Barney's Version opens in U.S. theaters (New York and Los Angeles...then expands to a city near you soon after! See more theaters and dates here!) this Friday, January 14th!

According to Awards Daily, Barney's Version is one of the Seven Films Advance in Makeup Category vying for a possible Oscar Nomination...
(3 of these will be nominated for the Oscar, I figure):
“Alice in Wonderland”
“Barney’s Version”
“The Fighter”
“Jonah Hex”
“True Grit”
“The Way Back”
“The Wolfman”

On Saturday, January 22, all members of the Academy’s Makeup Branch will be invited to view 10-minute excerpts from each of the seven shortlisted films. Following the screenings, members will vote to nominate three films for final Oscar consideration.
Let's hope BV is one of the 3 that gets an Oscar nomination for hair and make-up category, as after seeing the trailer/screen captures and stills from this movie, the hair and make-up department for BV did pretty good with making Rosamund (she still looks gorgeous, young or old, does she not?) and Paul Giamati look old.
Just check out the stills from BV and see the transformations of RP and PG from their younger selves to their older aged characters Miriam Grant-Panofski and Barney Panofski (see more stills and trailer caps of RP from Barney's Version here!)...
