First official still of 'The Three Musketeers 3D' featuring Matthew Macfadyen


Summit Entertainment has released the first official still from its upcoming 3D reboot of Alexandre Dumas' "The Three Musketeers."  The first still features (from left to right) Matthew Macfadyen as Athos, Logan Lerman ("Percy Jackson") as D'Artagnan, Ray Stevenson ("The Punisher:  War Zone") as Porthos and Luke Evans ("The Raven") as Aramis.

The cast also includes Christoph Waltz ("Inglourious Basterds," "The Green Hornet," "Water for Elephants") as Cardinal Richelieu, Milla Jovovich ("Resident Evil" movies), Mads Mikkelsen ("Casino Royale") and Orlando Bloom ("Pirates" and "Lord of The Rings" movies). Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson ("Resident Evil" movies).

Here's the official synopsis:
The hot-headed young D’Artagnan (Logan Lerman) joins forces with three rogue Musketeers (Matthew MacFadyen, Luke Evans and Ray Stevenson) in this reboot of Alexandre Dumas’  story.  They must stop the evil Richlieu (Christoph Waltz) and face off with Buckingham (Orlando Bloom) and the treacherous Milady (Milla Jovovich).  The action adventure is given a state of the art update in 3D.
"The Three Musketeers" is scheduled to open on October 14, 2011.
