New College want to stop the Campaign for Racial Equality at Oxford University

We have received a solicitor's letter from New College, Oxford. They claim that our campaign is a "vendetta" against them and that the campaign is of a "wholly misguided nature."

They require us to confirm that we will:

  1. Remove our blog page, Facebook page and any other instances where we have alleged racial discrimination.
  2. Write to the home bursar of New College, withdrawing our allegations of racial discrimination and apologising for publishing these allegations.
  3. Not to repeat any allegations of racial discrimination.
These demands are ridiculous. Gregory is currently waiting for a date for a preliminary hearing at the Employment Appeal Tribunal, where he is appealing the decision of the Employment Tribunal. We already know that they have stereotyped him as being stupid; this is just more proof of that.

This Campaign has never been 'misguided'. We sought specialist advice before embarking on this course.  Allegations of institutional racism at Oxford University are not a new concept dreamt up by us in order to have a pop at New College.

I am going to provide evidence on this page that institutional racism has been an issue at Oxford University and in universities in the UK for a long time. Many people have spoken out on this issue but nothing substantial has ever been achieved by doing so. Our campaign hopes to change that. We have the backing of people that are both qualified and experienced in the area of Racial Discrimination and Institutional Racism.
