Form AR-11 asks for the date my stay in the United States will expire. What date should I use? Currently, I am on working on EAD (I-485 pending) and last entered US on AP.

I just wandering, how long would it takes get decision in I 485 after FP (background check Cleared)?
I just not make sense to me, that a lot of people file on May and June () are getting approval on September 17, 2007, but latest processing time in NSC for I 485 is December 21, 2006. If that case, my I 485 was filed on July 2, 2007, and it will got approve by the end of this year.
Can someone explain to me how this work or how USCIS make a decision for I 485?

There is no relation between your first FP and FIrst EAD.
Your EAD card will come the message ' FP not available."
Sequence is fine...you should get your card in mail anytime now.

Do note that AILF does cover people who were eligible to file in July but did not file due to USCIS/DOS revised bulletin.....However, it is unknown at this time what the outcome of the lawsuit would be for July applicants vs eligible but non-applicants as the decision is at the discretion of the Judge.....
IMHO, its better to file and get rejected......

I am applying for my H1B extension in apr 2009 for the start date of oct 1st 2009. I have been with the same client for the last 3 years. Following are my concerns:
My client doesn't give any reference letters as per their HR policy. But we have all contract docs/purchase orders from the client since oct 2006. The client extends the project only every 6 months and this has been happening since 3 years. But if USCIS asks a letter/contract which covers the entire contract period for which the H1B extension is requested, what are my options? Please let me know.

I guess no complications unless USCIS asks for employment verification at the time of approving the case. He should continue to file for Income tax retrun for 2010 and also need to work for few months in 2011 to file for return.

Are you really sure that your H1B is still valid? My understanding is, only one type of Visa will be issued to a country for an individual, they cancel previously valid visas.

started as an intern with local in the month of march 06 and I was given offer till end of august. but my school official gave me work permit on a semester basis and gave it only for srping 06, which end in may 15th. I couldn't update my CPT status for 1 day for summer 06 and started on 16th may, so the school official has said that i am out of status.Since re-instatement is not possible from school as it was unauthorized work permit. They have advised me to go to home country and attend visa to be eligible for reinstatement. I have grauduated last month with masters of science..
They said they will provide me recommendation letter for me to show to consular officer. Also, I have an MBA admit in same university for spring 2007.
so should i come to new program..if thats the case how to get an emergency appoitment.
