Hello,
I just received my initial EAD and it is only valid for 1 year. My priority date is October 2006. Shouldn�t I have received an EAD valid for 2 years?

is your case eb2 or eb3? what nationality are you from? if you are eb2 india, then it could potentially mean that you might get GC within one year...

I am working for my current company since 2001 and started GC process in 2003(EB3 10/2003). So far my company paid all expenses towards my GC. I applied for 485 in 8/07.
Recently I got an offer as Manager. This is a much better position.
If I take that offer, will my current employer have the right to cancel I-140(since he incurred all the expenses towards my GC).
My company's current lawyer will definitely send the cancellation of G-28. in addition I am sure he will also intimate that I am not working with my current employer anymore. In addition I am also afraid he might cancel my I-140 with the intimation from my current employer. In this case, is it better for me to approach a new lawyer and send the AC21 letter attaching my new offer before my current lawyer/employer does their process.
Do i need any other letter from my new employer other than the Offer Letter to send the AC21 letter?
I did not tell my new employer that I am now on EAD (becoz he does not understand anything except GC or Citizenship). is it OK if I dont tell beofre I join them?

The other brand new company is offering me Eb2 with Perm but they don�t have any master degree in the company and also they have a very dummy attorney. I am not joining them until I can file 485 and make sure that I would not lose my PD.
I am form rest of the word category and the Eb2 in current.
Can some one help me with the ad text for Industrial engineer with +6 years of experience. The attorney doesn�t have any clue about Eb2 and specific add in paper. I guess I am going to help her.

It seems quite a few individuals with older priority dates from 2003 & 2004 are still waiting for a decision on their RiR cases (both state and regional) from Dallas BEC. It has been recently reported that many of these cases have received RFE's from BEC on a variety of issues (they might also have had an RFE at state or regional). I think it would be advantageous for all of us in similar situation if we can anonymously post the type of RFE's we receive and possible ramifactions for the same.
If some one knows of a similar thread elsewhere please provide a link, that way we can avoid duplicates.

Did anyone get their 140 approved from Vermont?
My 140 and 485 were filed late July 07 in Nebrasks and I got notices stating the 485 was transferred to Texas and 140 was being processed in Vermont.
The Vermont processing time for 140s has been stagnant at April 2006 for a long time.
Wondering if anyone has any updates on this.

My wife's I-539 got approved this month (H4 -> F1). My lawyer said that applying for AOS is not an issue as long as she does not travel outside the country while her AP is pending.

The lawyer sent a single check(I know !!! I know !!!)
Our applications got separated.
Mine came back on Aug 30th and my wifes last week
We have now refiled
This time it has gone for "special handling"-bypassing the mail room
I haven't got the receipt yet
Anyone who had a similar experience or went via special handling for some other reason...
How long does it take to get the receipt nowadays ?
(I couldn't see any receipt update on USCIS- I guess most of the people are past that stage)
Will special-handling speed up my Receipt OR EAD OR AP?

Hey vibedesign,
Create and animate the text that you wish to have "wireframed" in Swift 3D. When exporting the SWF, make sure you select the No Fill option. Consequently, make sure you select the Outline option with Entire Mesh or another setting selected! That should export your animation without the fill but with the outlines instead. That will look like a wireframe text effect!
