THE EVER SO LOVELY FAYE WEST ♥

Lovely Faye West sent me these delectable goodies through the post the other day. I was so thrilled to find the package waiting for me sealed with vintage disney tape. More disney goodness fell out inside in the form of disney princess stickers! She was kind enough to fill it full of the most gorgeous girly fashion prints & cards, the sweetest mirror so I can coat my eyelashes or press on rosy lipbalm anytime, anywhere! There was also a delicate toofbrush the colour of strawberry milkshake- which I was so happy to get as my wisdom tooth had been giving me trouble. Faye, the sweetheart she is had even thought to include my hair in this package and included the prettiest red flower hair slide which I adore- it's been on long summer walks with me thanks to this Indian summer we're having- in October!

I urge you to grab a bottle of cream soda or something equally as sweet and go and have a look at her gorgeous illustrations (the sugariness heightens the experience of seeing her pastel, pretty handmade loveliness in illustration form) Lovely Faye also has a super pretty etsy shop {Lady Gaga watercolour, a very lovely royal wedding original & pocket mirrors!}, a gorgeous blog, newly done up website and if you aren't already you should definitely be following my favourite red haired lovely on twitter ♥

super lovely illustrator Dee Andrews sent me this amazingly generous package this Christmas- glittering with iridescent stars, filled with girlie stickers, a beautiful illustrated snowglobe, stamps, super postcards and pretty prints ♥ you really need to have a look at her amazing illustrations! THE LOVELY ILLUSTRATION SWAP: CHRISTMAS ♥

it's that time again but this round it's gonna be a CHRISTMAS swap! that doesn't necessarily mean you have to send everything with a christmas theme but it would probably be very well received if there was something a little christmassy in this month's swap! this will be the last one now until the new year because i know it gets super busy during December and i haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet because i have no pennies!

so here's how it works:

you can send anything you like- with a focus on illustration so you might want to pop in cards, prints, postcards, badges, buttons etc with your lovely illustrations on them. a little bit of variety is always nice to see so i like to pop in things like tea, handmade papers, jewellery, stickers, pencils, notebooks, ribbon, handmade envelopes, sweets! all these packages will be super lovely anyway so go with what you'd like to send! then when you've gathered all your pretties you just package it all up in a little parcel that you've decorated in any way you like & pop it in the post to your assigned partner- which i shall sort out for you all and email you after the sign up date ends which is 2nd december!

you will be emailed by friday 3rd december and all packages must be sent out by friday 10th december
(anyone sending overseas must definitely do it by the friday 10th december as it's the last day to get post there by Christmas)

lovelies! it's that time again to start organising the lovely illustration swap and i thought if we get it all sort of posted by MONDAY THE 25th OCTOBER that way everyone gets their lovely package just in time for halloween!!! ooh and also bonfire night which is super because i love bonfire toffee so might be popping some in this autumnal illustration swap!

THE LOVELY ILLUSTRATION SWAP ♥

This is a very late post because I got this lovely package in the post last week and I had to take the pictures on my blackberry & they wouldn't upload so that's why there's been a huge delay! So I arranged the lovely illustration swap a little bit into August http://bit.ly/9f3mcF and lots of lovely illustrators signed up for the swap & lovely packages can be seen over at the flickr group http://bit.ly/bvfrXY ♥I was drinking my tea & having trouble extracting my strawberry munchbunch in the shape of a strawberry when the post arrived & brought me Jo Cheung's lovely illustration goodies. It was full of beautiful post cards, stickers & some original bird prints that I absolutely love! ♥ {I'll post some better pictures when I can find my camera's memory card}
Also thought I'd share my mixtapes I made for my bestest best Kimberley & her lovely sister Amy. I LOVE making mixtapes, well cds, and especially for these two lovelies cos we are all equally as mad when it comes to our mixes! ♥ ♥ ♥

I thought seeing as illustrators love nothing better than receiving pretty things in the post this would be a lovely thing to do! you can send anything you like, but cheap pretty finds from charity shops as well as lovely prints, ribbon, badges and buttons, tea, pens, stickers etc will all be really nice things to get in the post! all of this needs to be packaged up, decorate the package however you like and then forward it on to your partner who i will assign you!

so if we say the deadline for all entries to the lovely illustration swap is wednesday the 18th august that means we should all have our pretty packages before september!
