IT'S GETTING LATER ♥

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend! It's been a busy week again! I promise I will get round to posting some of the work I have been doing as well, the days just seem to get shorter- it will soon be cosy socks and hot chocolate weather!
The rain here has been absolutely non stop. Listening to it in the early hours of this morning made me think of Autumn, hot tea, thick wool tights, peter pan collar coats and foggy mornings. I know I shouldn't be wishing summer away, because I'll really miss it once it's gone. But I do love Autumn.
I will leave you with these pretty pictures that have inspired me to wear my hair loose and wavy or gently braided, tiny tattoos, the juiciest raspberries, hot tea and one of my favourite summer scents- Daisy by Marc Jacobs ♥
Also, don't forget, there's still this week to enter my ROSY KNEES giveaway here

FINDING HOME ♥

Hello lovelies, hope you're all well and are enjoying your weekends! I'm back to working hard to save some pennies for September and been super busy this week trying to find somewhere to call home. Matt and I took a spur of the moment trip to Norwich, with hope of finding a house within 3 days and luckily we have! It's really lovely and on a quiet street with its own little garden where I can plant pastel coloured roses and sip Pimms (hopefully if this British summer extends to September!)
A trip to Starbucks on an afternoon which was simply too hot allowed us to enjoy a Strawberries and Cream frapp. We popped to the university and had a lovely picnic on the grass with our M&S sandwiches, it didn't rain that day either which was a pleasant surprise! We took to the cinema Wednesday evening (yey for Orange Wednesdays!) to see X Men First Class which was actually really good, not what I was expecting! But I do like James McAvoy and Rose Byrne :)
However, it did rain on Thursday while we searched for a house and we took refuge in a gorgeous pub called the Mulberry. It had bunting adorning the ceiling, a teacup clock, painted wooden floors and old singer sewing machine tables to sit at. It was a lovely way to spend an hour or so sipping fruity Pimms and Matt sampled some of the local brew Ghost Ship. After the rain showed no signs of stopping, we went on our merry way and braved the elements to have a look round pretty shops. I was thrilled to find some of the lovely Gemma Correll's cards in the local Paperchase, we looked at all the splendid cats on them and it made us smile.
I spotted a copy of the wonderful Oh Comely magazine in the train station and bought it with my last few pennies to enjoy whilst on the journey home. We said goodbye to rainy Norwich until September where we will hopefully return with all our belongings to start a brand new life ♥
