I had to show you the latest collection of exquisite paintings from one of my favourite artists, Emily Martin of the Black Apple, based on one of my favourite stories Alice In Wonderland ♥ They're beautifully painted with love and the most apt attention to detail, look at the cake stand in The Mad Tea Party piece and the mischievous look on the Cheshire Cat's face. I adore the blushing roses in Still Life with Live Flowers and the adorable diamond pattern on Alice's vintage dress.

rosy hair♥

can't wait until tomorrow because i really want to get one of these gorgeous fancy wearables from the theblackapple {website is on the right----------------------------------------------->}

am off for a lovely afternoon bubble bath & will be smothering my hair with the last bottle of rose herbal essences conditioner. i really don't like the new pink one that's replaced it in those new shaped bottles, much prefer the old ones. it's lovely when i've tinted my hair pink too because then it smells as nice as the colour♥ miss the rose shampoo too :( something {hopefully} i'll never run out of is rosy lips with the help of the little pink vaseline tin♥

♥ thought i'd post a few little snippets on a doll i started making for my sister last night. i finished the rest of her today. i like her sweet pink cheeks.

♥ we went out for her birthday to a place in town & ordered another of those lovely long island iced tea pitchers. i cannot get enough! it was pretty dark in there though so we had a little tealight to keep us company.


♥ i've been out of the cold today drinking tea & sewing. i've just bought a new camera in a dark cherry red colour, i love it. it's so light i think i'll carry it everywhere along with my mini journal. i watched even more friends last night too, doodling little handdrawn letters in a cheap pad & trying to avoid M&S fairtrade cookies that are yummy!
