Today I'd rather be..

... raiding the pantry with Jonathan Groff.

Has anybody ever used "raiding the pantry" as a euphemism for sexiness before? This can't be the first time. Surely other "pantries" have been "raided" before. And most surely Jonathan Groff's, at that. Zachary Quinto be raiding that shit every night!

Anyway it's Jonathan's 27th birthday today and it's well past due that I posted these pictures of him in his movie Twelve Thirty dontcha think? These would be a prime example of "Me forgetting shit during my Great Gratuities awards," because this scene probably definitely should have placed. Alas and alack, I forgot it existed. How I could forget this - Glee actor goes full frontal! - I dunno. Hit the jump for all the all of it.

All day long I've forgotten about posting these pictures of Joel McHale showing off his much-naired niblets on last night's new episode of Community (via), and my lack of enthusiasm can most assuredly be directly attributed to the furless catastrophe witnessed therein. Too slick and shiny smooth, man! Maybe an appearance of the suspicious underpants would have gotten me over the hair-free hump - alas. He needs to set down the Lady Gillette and get back to his one-time hirsute heights. (I mean he was never Magnum PI, but he had a nice fuzz going on.) See some more after the jump anyway.

So you won't have any excuses for not seeing it after that. Go here and buy it! I don't get why it did so poorly, box office wise - you may recall that I enjoyed the hell out of it (here's my review) so even besides all that hot Fassy towel action I say there's other wonders to behold. Channing and Ewan and Soderbergh's super style, all that jazz. And Carano might've been wet behind the ears acting-wise but Soderbergh utilized her well, I thought.

Oh and I swiped these gifs straight from the ever-awesome Simone at Fassinating Fassbender, but how could I not? She understands.

Today's Fanboy Delusion

Today I'd rather be...

... steaming it up with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Paul Bettany.

Posting that little picture of Jamie Lannister earlier today made this inevitable - once I've gazed upon the indefatigable jawline of Nikolaj, there can be no other.

I've only seen Wimbledon once and all I really remember from it is the sexual tension - perhaps entirely projected by me - between these two fellas. But I mean it's not like I had to work very hard if it was my projection since somebody was shooting these scenes to purposefully plant such seeds.

I mean, come on. Just go at it, you two! 

This reminds me that I haven't written anything about Headhunters, the really terrific Norwegian thriller with a very scary Nikolaj that's actually going to get a little release here in the States next month - I didn't think it was getting a release here and had gotten impatient with wanting to see it (it came out over yonder way back in August, and has been garnering enthusiasm ever since) so I downloaded it and watched it last month, but then I got all caught up in the Trousers and never found the time to write a review.

And now I've waited too long and my recollections are murky. But I did like it very much, I remember finding it very thrilling (a good thing for a thriller to be) - there's an especially memorable scary slash disgusting scene involving an outhouse - so you should definitely seek it out when you can. (I know, it was the outhouse thing that won you over.) Here, let me try this:
